- Seek help or call 988 if I am having suicidal thoughts.
- Encourage others to seek help from a professional if they are struggling.
- Call 988 or 911 if I think someone is in danger of suicide.
Are you a business/organization and want to get involved?
Involvement can include
- Encouraging employees to wear bright or silly socks on May 15, 2026
- Donating a portion of May 15 sales proceeds to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP)
- Donating gift cards or items for a raffle to support fundraising efforts (contact)
- Displaying a #SockOutSuicide flyer in-store
- Sharing information about the event on social media
